Hey, Gregor.

WHAT'S ON YOUR HOME SCREEN?

Here’s a peek at what Gregor Sneddon, Executive Director of HelpAge Canada, has on his Home screen. Read on for the “If you could only choose one…” decisions we asked him to make.

IF YOU COULD ONLY CHOOSE ONE...

A big thanks to Gregor Sneddon, Executive Director at HelpAge Canada for participating. We love HelpAge here at Gluu. They are a Canadian charity dedicated to assisting impoverished older persons living in Canada and the developing world. Gluu proudly supports their digital literacy work.

Scroll down to see the Brief Explanations section, where Gregor’s explains some of his “If you could only choose one…” choices. We especially love his answer to Order Food Online vs Order Over the Phone. Even with all this technology, you just can’t beat a human connection—especially when it comes to pizza!

A BRIEF EXPLANATION

Phone Call vs. Text

Text.
I tend to use text for quick messages, but always available for my Mum & Dad and my wife Amanda when they call (otherwise I get in BIG trouble)!

Android vs. Apple

Apple.
I can’t say I have a particular reason for Apple, was just the one I started out with (I tend to drive Hondas for the same reason).

Order Food Online vs. Order Over the Phone

Order over the phone.
I usually order with UBER eats, though I do use the phone when I call our favourite pizza place because we have a particular pizza we like and they do it a special way when they know it is me!

Headphones vs. Speaker

Headphones.
Usually headphones when I am out and about, but like speakers when having the gang over and cooking up a storm.

Fitness Tracking vs. No Tracking

No Tracking.
Don’t tell my wife, but I have not been using my fitness tracking app that I have for a smart watch that I never wear. I should…soon…soonish….

PVR vs. Streaming

Streaming.
Yes, on demand all the way, baby!
