Borrow a Google Nest Hub Max Smart Home Display for up to six weeks. It’s an easy way to get online, use favourite apps, and make video calls—all hands free. Our trained volunteers can show you how to use this helpful voice-operated device.
If you like it, buy one—we can provide a list of suggested retailers. Google Nest Hub Max costs about $240. If the device is not for you, send it back to us—we’ll even pay the shipping. Easy peasy.

What's a Smart Home Display?
Great question. A Smart Home Display, or smart display, is basically a tablet sitting on top of a smart speaker. Your voice controls this device. You can surf the web, look at photos, or stream your favourite shows using simple voice commands. Just say the word to play music, check the weather, listen to a book, or find a recipe.
In this project, we're using the Google Nest Hub Max Smart Home Display, but other options exist. We picked this smart display because it has a big screen and camera for video calling and joining Zoom meetings.
