My shutter button is not white. How do I change it?

If your shutter button is not white, as we describe in this lesson, see what mode you are in. Look at the yellow text on the right-hand side of the screen. The word in yellow tells you the mode you are in. To move to PHOTO mode, tap on the word PHOTO. It will be yellow when it’s selected, and your shutter button will now be white.

How do I find the PHOTO option? It’s not in my list.

If you don’t see the PHOTO option in your list of camera modes (right-hand side of your screen), try swiping up or down through this list. PHOTO will appear between VIDEO and SQUARE. The word PHOTO turns yellow when this mode is active.
